Kidnapped American Tourist Rescued by Ugandan Forces

The kidnapped American Tourist who has been held hostage for several days has been rescued by the Ugandan security forces. Kimberley Sue Endecott (35) Kimberley Sue Endecotta and a local guide were kidnapped from Queen Elizabeth Game Park, a popular tourist destination in Uganda on Tuesday evening by unknown gunmen.

The kidnappers demanded a $500,000 ransom from the safari lodge where Kimberly was staying.

Kim Sue Endicott of Southern California and her tour guide, national Jean-Paul Mirenge Remezo, freed in a negotiated handover, officials said.

The news of their rescue came after the the Federal Bureau of Investigation got involved in the search and a relative of Edincott asked for more help for the U.S. government in finding Edincott, the owner of a Costa Mesa skin-care shop.

For the past 5 days, the Uganda Police Force and the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) has been following the trails of the kidnappers.

Details of how Kim and Remezo were saved were not immediately available. More details are expected after the Uganda Police Force confirming this story!
