Florence Andiru Nebanda has won the Butaleja Woman MP seat by a landslide. The Electoral Commission declared Florence Andiru Nebanda winner and the Butaleja Woman MP elect last night with 27,238 votes.
Betty Hamba (Independent) came second with 12,157 votes while Sarah Annet Logose (Independent) managed only 3393 in the third position.
FDC’s Felista Namwihiri followed with a disappointing 326 with Perusi Munaba (Independent) trailing with only 1,332 votes.
Butaleja registered a low voter turn up with only 44,482 casting their votes out of the registered 89,841.
