The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) this morning (Thursday 10th April) launched the 2015 Africa Nations Cup campaign dubbed “Road to Morocco” and a new FUFA logo at the FA headquarters in Mengo.

FUFA President Moses Magogo unveiled the logo which has the three national colors (Black, Red and Yellow), five stars, a ball and the marking ‘Since 1924’.

Magogo explained the logo saying, the Five Stars represent the five administrative structures of FUFA which are; The General Assembly, The Executive Committees, The Standing Committees, The Judicial Bodies, and the Secretariat.

“The five stars on the logo represent the five football structures of FUFA and 1924 is meant to mark the year the federation was formed,” he said

Other logos were unveiled at the same event and these are the “FUFA Inter –regions Logo.” ‘Uganda Cup Logo’ and ‘FUFA Big League Logo’.

Engineer Magogo emphasized that all logos have been registered as Trade Marks. This means one must be granted permission by FUFA if they are to use the logos.
